Description

Golden crispy smashed potatoes served with a creamy garlic aioli. Perfect as a side dish or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs small potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  4. Place potatoes on a baking sheet and gently smash each one with a fork.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy and golden.
  7. Mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and salt to make the aioli.
  8. Serve potatoes hot with garlic aioli.
