- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Mix mashed bananas and melted butter in a bowl.
- Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Add baking soda and flour, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chopped walnuts.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.
- You can substitute walnuts with pecans or omit nuts if preferred.
