Description

A quick and easy stovetop dessert with fresh summer berries and a crispy oat topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mixed summer berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  2. In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the berries.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the topping is crispy.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen berries.
  • Adjust sugar based on berry sweetness.
  • For extra crunch, toast the oats before adding.
