Description

Fresh and flavorful spicy tuna poke bowls with a mix of vegetables and rice. A quick and healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh tuna, cubed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. Divide rice between two bowls.
  4. Top with marinated tuna, avocado, cucumber, and carrots.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, green onions, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Serve immediately.

  • Use sushi-grade tuna for best results.
  • Adjust sriracha for more or less spice.
