Crunchy roasted walnuts with a blend of warm spices for a perfect snack or topping.
Ingredients

- 2 cups raw walnuts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix all spices in a small bowl.
- Toss walnuts with olive oil in a large bowl.
- Sprinkle spice mix over walnuts and toss to coat evenly.
- Spread walnuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 10-12 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- Drizzle with honey if using, and toss again.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
- Use maple syrup instead of honey for a vegan version.
