Description

Crunchy roasted walnuts with a blend of warm spices for a perfect snack or topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups raw walnuts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix all spices in a small bowl.
  3. Toss walnuts with olive oil in a large bowl.
  4. Sprinkle spice mix over walnuts and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread walnuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 10-12 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  7. Drizzle with honey if using, and toss again.
  8. Let cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
  • Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey for a vegan version.
