Description

A simple rosemary garlic focaccia recipe with a crispy crust and soft interior.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g bread flour
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 350ml warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead for 5 minutes.
  3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Press dough into a greased baking tray.
  5. Dimple the dough with your fingers.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle garlic, rosemary, and sea salt.
  7. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing.
