A simple yet elegant dessert featuring pan-seared pears topped with a creamy honey-yogurt sauce.

- 2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey (for sauce)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place pear halves cut-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle honey and sprinkle cinnamon over the pears. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove pears from heat and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, honey, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Serve pears warm with a dollop of the honey-yogurt sauce.
Notes
- Use slightly underripe pears for better texture.
- Adjust honey to taste for the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped nuts or mint if desired.
