Description

A simple yet elegant dessert featuring pan-seared pears topped with a creamy honey-yogurt sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey (for sauce)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place pear halves cut-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  3. Drizzle honey and sprinkle cinnamon over the pears. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove pears from heat and set aside.
  5. In a bowl, mix yogurt, honey, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  6. Serve pears warm with a dollop of the honey-yogurt sauce.

Notes

  • Use slightly underripe pears for better texture.
  • Adjust honey to taste for the sauce.
