- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
