Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add melted butter, milk, egg, and maple syrup. Stir until combined.
- Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle half the bacon, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add the remaining batter. Top with the rest of the bacon, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before serving.
Notes
- Use real maple syrup for best flavor.
- Cook bacon until crispy for texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
