Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast, warm milk, melted butter, egg, and salt to form a dough.
  2. Knead for 5 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Roll tightly, cut into 12 slices, and place in a baking dish.
  5. Let rise for 30 minutes, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze, then drizzle over warm rolls.
