A creamy and flavorful roasted garlic hummus recipe that is easy to make at home.
Ingredients

- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 head of garlic, roasted
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp water (optional, for consistency)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Cut the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes.
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, roasted garlic cloves, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth, adding water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Serve with pita bread, vegetables, or as a spread.
