A classic Chef Salad with fresh vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, quartered
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1/4 cup croutons
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry all vegetables.
  2. Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large bowl.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion to the bowl.
  4. Arrange hard-boiled eggs, cheese, chicken, and ham on top.
  5. Sprinkle croutons over the salad.
  6. Serve with ranch dressing on the side.
