Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, beat egg, milk, oil, and vanilla.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in diced pears gently.
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm pears for best texture.
- Replace milk with almond milk for a dairy-free option.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
