A simple and quick stir-fry dish featuring tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, add broccoli and garlic. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return beef to the pan. Add beef broth and brown sugar. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve hot over steamed rice.
- Thinly slicing the beef ensures it cooks quickly and stays tender.
