Ingredients

  • 400g canned chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place feta cheese in the center of a baking dish.
  3. Surround feta with drained chickpeas.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over feta and chickpeas.
  5. Sprinkle oregano, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until feta softens and chickpeas are golden.
  7. Squeeze lemon juice over the dish.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
